Scarlet is a 2 year old 65lb. red and white pit that has been in the shelter for a couple months now and has learned to trust people again after coming in very scared and cowering in the back of her kennel. She's a very pretty girl and is a lover once she gets to know you. If you are looking for a girl that will stick by your side and be your companion for life look no further. Scarlett will be waiting to meet you at VBAC&AC. She is 'orange' so her adoption fee will be 1/2 off this Saturday for the black and orange adoption event!! Her ID#is xxxx-xxxx. Please ask a caretaker to let you meet Scarlet as she is waiting in the back for a spot on the adoption floor
Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center has wonderful pets available for adoption. As of December 6, all animals are now at the new shelter at 341 Birdneck Road. The former shelter on Leroy Drive is now closed. If you have lost a pet, please visit the shelter in person and often as lost animals arrive everyday.
