Hokie is a 4 years old Domestic Short Hair Cat. Hi my name is Hokie! I am 4 years young and I arrived here in August of xxxx with my housemate Sophie. We were both pretty scared when we were brought here. Imagine being brought to a loud new place with lots of animal smells .. in a pillowcase. That was us! I arrived here because my owners were not able to care for me any longer after 4 years with them. Despite my ordeal I am no longer scared. I adapt to new situations really well! I have lived with children cats and dogs in my previous home. According to my previous owner I am good around new people and situations and that I am an easy going lap cat who never misbehaves. Since being at the shelter I have lived in a colony with 5 other cats. I absolutely LOVE the company of other animals but my true love is for humans. I want to be the cat on your couch watching TV with you! If you are looking for a laid back snuggle bug I am definitely the one for you.
