Thomas is a 3 years old Domestic Short Hair Cat. Hello my name is Thomas! This is my second time here sadly. Both because my owners were moving and did not take me along. This time though I have a sad story. You see when I lived here the first time the staff put me in a cat colony with a cat named Malachi. We quickly became BEST FRIENDS! We were always playing with each other sleeping together and grooming each other. Not too long after the staff put us together the best thing EVER happened .. we were adopted TOGETHER! Sadly we only stayed in our new home for 9 months before our owner moved and was unable to take us. The past few months that our owner had us she allowed us to roam outside. Neither of us had ever been outdoor cats so we were truly out of our element. Kitties should not be outdoors anyway because there is too much that can harm us. Well we became quite skittish in the outdoor world and our owner was only able to catch me. It was not until a month later that my friend Malachi was caught and brought to the shelter. Needless to say we are a little confused and settling in but very friendly and ready to be part of a home again. I need my next home to be my FOREVER home and I need to be kept indoors forever!
