A TRUE MIRACLE... MILAGRO has quite a history here with us at the LCHS Adoption Center. She was found on death?s door with a fatal illnes and a lifetime of severe neglect and abuse. Milagro had endured so much adversity in her life that our directors felt she deserved to heal and have a chance at a happy life. LCHS then embarked on a year-long treatment plan to cure her of her illness and rehabilitate this beautiful soul into a vital, happy dog again. Well - success was met by yet another setback... This sweet animal was adopted to a ranch. We thought it was a dream life for her - only to find out that she was under constant attack from the other dogs on the ranch. She was returned 6 months later, broken and skinny once again. Milagro was actually very happy to return to LCHS, a place she received love and attention. Well now, after another period of rehabilitation, she is ready. This time it will be her final and forever home. We will be 100% that the person or family that adopts Milagro will be special. This dog, who has so much heart and tenacity, deserves the best. If you can give MILAGRO a true happy home - please ask about her. BTW - MILAGRO means MIRACLE in Spanish....
