Marshmallow xxxx-xxxx has been a resident 12 year old elder-bull since August. No fault of her own, at the shelter behind kennel door #1 she has sat, hoping for someone to fall in love. She came in with her sister dog, that has since been adopted, and left behind was Marshmallow?s sad and broken little heart. This puppy dog is quite the silly little girl! She may be an elder, but she has got some pep in her step (literally), when she isn?t taking advantage of snuggle time and sneaking sloppy, gummy kisses, she is running after and fetching a ball like a 2 year old pup! At this stage of the game, this special young lady deserves to be spoiled, to retire in the laps of doggy luxury (love) and feel the emotion of being needed and wanted. On sunny day walks, she will raise her chin to the sunlight and her nose to the breeze, it seems all she wants in life is to be somewhere she can be safe, loved and happy. Virginia Beach Animal Care & Adoption Center has wonderful pets available for adoption. As of December 6, all animals are now at the new shelter at 341 Birdneck Road. The former shelter on Leroy Drive is now closed. If you have lost a pet, please visit the shelter in person and often as lost animals arrive everyday.
