Stock Clerks are assigned by the Government to tool cribs, Mega centers and plant services.
Stock Clerks shall:
Support the Production Department's efforts to produce the negotiated workload.
Stock Clerk shall receive, store, inventory and issue IMRL, Calibration gear, equipment, materials supplies, merchandise, tools and compile stock control records of items in stockrooms, warehouses or storage yards.
Compiles and records data from customer; work tickets, meter cards, orders, product specifications and individual worker production data sheets.
Calculates such factors as types and quantities of items stocked, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice; examine stock to verify conformance to specifications; store articles in bins, on floor or on shelves according to identifying information such as style, size or type of material; fill orders or issue supplies from stock; prepare periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock using current data systems such as ATICTS/MAXIMO and requisition articles to fill incoming orders..
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes and refusal of shipments. Tracks production shop schedules to ensure timely completion of daily, monthly and quarterly schedules.
Enters required transactions data into the manufactured resource planning (MRP) data base.
Maintains commodities and HAZMAT lockers throughout the FRCSE. Documented training will be required.
Performs additional duties as prescribed by the respective hub scheduler and or production support supervisor.
Required Experience, Training & Certifications:
Should have a basic knowledge of industrial hand tools.
Recent documented experience with Naval Aviation, material control and or hazardous material handling, IMRL/Calibration equipment is a plus.
Past documented experience with ATICS/MAXIMO and Microsoft office applications are desired.
History of working in a well-structured industrial environment, a working knowledge of lean six sigma and ISO xxxx principles is desirable. Strong customer service skills and professional work ethic a must.
Required Security Clearance Eligibility:
Applicant must be a US Citizen and able to pass a background check with the Department of Defense.
