Legal Assistant- Corporate Real Estate - (Virginia Beach) in Virginia Beach, Virginia For Sale
Highly accomplished, legal professional with in-depth knowledge and experience in real estate transactions needed in VA Beach. Will work directly with General Counsel and company attorneys on commercial and residential real estate transactions as well as corporate transactions. Must have strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and multitasking skills and be able to: Manage complex transactions. Organize and assemble large quantities of documents for bond closings, HUD, SBA closings and large commercial loans. Draft, analyze and review real estate documents, including deeds, deeds of trust, settlement statements, UCC’s, title commitments, title exceptions, surveys, zoning letters and reports, environmental reports, lien releases, memoranda of leases, ancillary lease documents and client correspondence. Coordinate closings. File zoning applications and other documents with local governments. Maintain and organize electronic and hard copies of transactions. *Credit screenings will be conducted for consideration. Bachelor’s Degree and/or related paralegal certificate required 3+ years of experience in managing real estate matters from contract to closing and working in law firm environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
