A successful property management company is seeking a Property Accountant to join its team in Virginia Beach. The property accountant's duties include: general ledger, AR, AP, bank reconciliations, weekly cash flow, month-end reporting, and assisting with property audits. The Property Accountant must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and feel comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting. The Property Accountant must have 2+ years of accounting experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger; strong knowledge of the property management industry; strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask; exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Excel and an accounting database with General Dynamics and/or Timberline preferred.
